Coaching builds resilience by helping clients learn how to relate to their inner thoughts and emotions by developing emotional flexibility.
We all have choices about how we behave; coaches help clients make choices that are in line with their values and do what truly matters even in the face of adversity.
Change is possible and likely; change comes from within the client & cannot be imposed.
My approach
My role as coach is to support clients to find their own solutions by helping them think for themselves rather than doing the thinking for them. I build a relationship with the client by asking questions and focussing on listening intently to their thinking. Clients identify their goals, based on what truly matters to them, taking action despite the self-limiting stories we all tell ourselves.
By utilising the latest evidence-based developments in behavioural science, helping clients to focus on developing strategies which enhance their wellbeing and build resilience, enabling them to maximise their performance and flourish.
The Process
Initial Meeting 30/45 -minute to establish if coaching is the right approach for you
1:1 session:
6 session of 90 minutes each 1:1 via zoom
Content:
Goals for the Future, Personal values/Beliefs, My current Reality, Building on my Strengths, Seeing how others see me, Exploring my Options & taking Action towards my Goals & Values.
Timescale:
3 months initially
Support:
Telephone & email support will be provided along with practical exercises and guided reading between sessions.
My background
With more than 35 years in various HR roles including 17 years as the UK HR Director of an International Hotel company I have a wealth of commercial experience. My specialisms are in the development of people and leadership skills. I am a qualified Mental Health First Aid instructor and behavioural change trainer. I am undertaking a Post Graduate Certificate in personal and business coaching and a member of the International Coach Federation.
